Havering Children and Families Support
This service offers information and support for families, children, young people, and those with special educational needs or disabilities aged 0–25. You can register a child or young person as disabled to help plan appropriate services. It also provides guidance, resources, and useful tools for professionals and practitioners.

Havering Audiology
The Havering, Barking, Dagenham and Brentwood children’s audiology service provides hearing assessments for newborns to young adults. It supports children with significant hearing loss who may need hearing aids. Using a range of tests, it facilitates rehabilitation and fits digital behind-the-ear hearing aids to improve communication and development

NDCS
The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) is a charity supporting deaf children and those who care for them in the UK and beyond. It shares knowledge, answers questions, and helps overcome challenges. NDCS empowers families, drives community change, and campaigns for deaf children’s rights to ensure they receive the support they need.

EDS – Empowering the D/deaf community in the borough
This service offers support through information, advice, workshops, events, and Signature-accredited British Sign Language (BSL) courses across Greater London. It also partners with community services and businesses to promote Deaf awareness, encourage social integration, and improve communication and understanding between Deaf and hearing communities, helping bridge cultural differences and foster inclusion.

Essex Deaf Children’s Society is a charity that organises events for deaf children and their families to meet, share experiences and have fun. It provides support, creates opportunities to reduce isolation, and raises awareness of deafness and related issues within the wider community, promoting inclusion and understanding for all.

SALT- For clinicians- Havering | NELFT NHS Foundation Trust
This service supports patients with communication or feeding difficulties who are under 16 and registered with a Havering GP, or registered with a Barking and Dagenham GP but mainly accessing services in Havering, such as school or nursery. For those with an Education, Health and Care Plan, eligibility extends to age 19.
